Yahoo!!! I received my hsts today...they're beautiful. After admiring the gorgeous colors, I wanted to see
where they came from...35 US states, 5 from Canada, 5 from Australia, 2 from England and 3 unknowns:!: ...Wow
Thanks to everyone...but, most of all, to Ritzy for doing a wonderful job all around.

I received mine yesterday. I had to look at every single one too. I was so surprised by all of the gorgeous combinations. Some of them I would not have thought to put together but they are wonderful! This exchange will stretch me to use colors that I usually don't choose....Thanks so much to all of you HSTers and special thanks to Ritzy and her crew!
P.S. Open up the "unknowns" and look at the fabrics. My HST from Alex had her signature on the fabric but nothing on the paper. (Loved the cherry fabric Alex!)

Hi all from New York, I got home from teaching a class today and lo and behold my HSTs arrived and I am so excited seeing all the different quilters, colors and places they came from. I will be doing something special with them but for now I just want to keep the names attached and look at them and think of all the friends I have all over the world. Thanks Ritzy, Margo and anyone else who worked on this project. I feel blessed. Sandy

Was doing a happy dance to find that my batik hsts have arrive safely home to Yorkshire, UK, only to find out that my hsts sent in for the Sottts are still missing in action  (and they were sent in a week before the gift to Debbie & Clara  )
I was feeling sooo happy to have a little piece of everyone's sewing to incorporate into a quilt, and looking forward to the Sottts contingent to join with them.
I hope and pray that the parcel arrives before Sottts Sorting Day, otherwise I won't be playing with them after all.
Wishing everyone a happy Mothering Sunday (as I was brought up to call it ) this Sunday - I'm off to my parents for the weekend, see you all next week, when hopefully Debbies will have some good news for me.

Do not despair, Rosemary. Since it took Maureen's over three weeks to arrive, I'm very confident that your's will make it before sorting day. Have a wonderful time with your parents and hopefully you'll do another happy dance when you get back home  .
