OK, Batikers...here is a photo of what should be inside the package you send to Ritzy.

**A self-addressed STAMPED mailer so Ritzy can send HSTs back to you.
The return postage for 137 HSTs is five 42cent stamps. That needs to be on the return shipping mailer.
THIS IS THE POSTAGE FROM TENNESSEE TO INDIANA. PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR PO FOR YOUR POSTAGE AMOUNT!!!

Use your return address on this mailer so that it will come back to you if there is insufficient postage. Ritzy doesn't want them coming back to her!
Mark the outside of this mailer with your screen name and the number of HSTs you have sent to make it easy for Ritzy to make sure you get enough back.

**A baggie with 137 HSTs. Label it plainly with your screen name and the total number of HSTs. That is the number that you will recieve back.
To save space in the package, and to make it easier for Ritzy, DO NOT ZIP THE BAG CLOSED!! THANKS!

I used bubble-wrap envelopes purchased at my local Post Office for mailing in both directions.
The postage going to Ritzy may be a little less if you have a metered sticker applied at the post office.
You can't use those for the return shipping because they are dated and must be used immediately. (I didn't know that until today.)
BE SURE TO MARK THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR PACKAGE TO RITZY WITH YOUR SCREEN NAME AND TOTAL NUMBER OF HSTs. THANKS!

    Hope this helps:

Alex is amazing. Looking forward to getting all of the batiks. Already have a pattern in mind.

Ritzy: do you want us to email you once we mail our package so you can notify us that you got it OK? That's what we are doing with
          the other exchange.

That would be great--then if I don't get it I will start checking around.

Just got my papers yesterday - can't wait to get started and can't wait to see the embossed batik - I think it will add a nice touch.

I have seen the textured (embosed ) batiks and it is fine with me. Got my fabrics cut, got my fabrics layered with the paper and am ready to go. Teaching quilting tonight so tomorrow I start.

I know that most people are using Edyta’s papers but I have printed mine off the internet and am using small pieces and oddments of batiks. This means that I have 6 of one colour, 12 of another, 50 odd of another etc. Do you want each colour in a seperate baggie, or can I put them all in one bag of 137.

I dont want to make things difficult for you.

                  Thanks

It occurs to me that this will be a task of no small proportion. Wouldn't it be a grand idea if everyone would enclose a fat quarter as payment to the incredible people that step up to take on all the work? What an incredible instant stash that would make!! Just dreaming, but certainly something I would be willing to do. HMMM?

You can put them all in the same bag.

Reconsidering my post about including a fat quarter gift for Ritzy - I STILL THINK IT'S A GREAT IDEA. I WILL BE ENCLOSING A GIFT FAT QUARTER FOR RITZY IN MY BAG. I INVITE ANYONE ELSE TO DO THE SAME - I think it's a combination of gratitude, and also, I'm GLAD I'M NOT RITZY!!! LOL LOL

I think it's a great idea too. Thanks for mentioning it - I'd thought of something similar.

Also - I want to tell you - it just looked at your profile and your Ocean Waves quilt is AWESOME - is that one of the patterns in Edyta's book. It is my new inspiration - WoW! Terrie

I am sorry to keep asking questions. I am very grateful for all the trouble Ritzy and Margo have gone to to accomodate us overseas members. I am ready to pack my HSTs and send to Ritzy. My problem is this, we are requested to put our own address on the return envelope as the sender in case there is insufficient postage. I can appreciate why for US members. I am certain that the correct postage will be on my return parcel as Ritzy will have to take it to the mailing office and pay for it with the money I have sent through paypal. However as my parcel will encounter both the US postal system and the british postal system, the british postal system is unlikely to collect any possible underpayment for the US postal system, if that makes sense. I would prefer my parcel to go back to Ritzy rather than risk it never arriving anywhere due to underpayment. Please can you advise me Margo and Ritzy. Many thanks
