From page 1 of this topic: YOU NEED TO E-MAIL RITZY TO GET HER ADDRESS TO MAIL YOUR HSTs.
(My apologies for the confusion on this. Ritzy asked me to post that first comment, and I should have made it more clear that she is the one you need to contact.)

          Sign up now:
deadline is February 7th (PLEASE CONTACT RITZY, NOT MARGO)
If you have already let me know you are interested I will have an email with your email address and you are good to go.

When HST's are due at my house:
          March 15th

          To get my address:
Send me your e-mail address and I will send you my snail mail address.

Naomi, I am not aware of extras being requested for Alex and Ricky. Only that Alex will be signing HSTs, so I assume that she is already included in the number.

I checked with my bank today, and it is going to cost $24 in charges to do a direct debit to America., I would really like to go with the pay pal offer. It is safe and only a small charge to receive the money which I would add to the postage cost. Maree

Just to be clear, if there are 200 people in the exchange we send in 200 HST? Or are we sending in 1 sheet of HST per person?
                Thanks,
                Judy in Texas

Judy, there are 137 people in the exchange and Ritzy has requested that we send in 137 HSTs. If you wish to sedn extra to go to Hanne-Grete in Norway ro to Queensland they need to be in seperate baggies labelled clearly.

Pam is right on! It takes less than 5 of Edyta's HST sheets to do this challenge! Only send 137, cut apart HSTs, still folded with the papers attached. Please read over the guidelines on page 1 of this topic before sending in your units! Thanks!

                      Ritzy,

Seems like international participants are having a big challenge with money transfers. In my offer (posted earlier) to use paypal, I mentioned that I would be sending a check after all the transfers are made. Another option, if you feel more comfortable with it, is for me to get a visa gift card and have it delivered to you instead of a check. I'm willing to pay the $3.95 purchase fee plus $1.50 shipping and handling ( That's the cost at my bank)

My only interest in doing this is to help. Since I'm not close enough to help in any other way. It would be to sad  if the international participants retire from the exchange due to highly expensive shipment cost.

Limbania, thank you so much for your kind offer. We are checking now to see about using my PayPal account as a central receiving station for the international participants.

In order to do this, I need to have an e-mail address for anyone who will need to use this service. If you will send me a personal e-mail at:
                        mailto:[email protected]
I will be able to give you more information. Please put "PayPal postage" in the subject line so I can retrieve your message from my spam folder. Thanks!

Hopefully this is going to be the most cost effective way to handle the return shipping charges.

And thanks for your patience while we figure this out!

Have started cutting my HST apart. Do we iron them open with the seam to the dark or leave them as they are cut apart.
I found my circular mat great for cutting, as I can leave them in the one place and just turn the board.

                                Maree,

Just cut them apart, press them still closed and post them. Keeping them closed helps keep them from stretching out of place on the bias edge during transportation - the paper holds it in place! Pressing them closed helps to set the seam.
