Go to Visa.com. Click on In Person. A map should appear showing places to purchase gift cards. Retail stores, malls and banks showed on my map. I don't believe they are available at the post office. You can also purchase on line. I found this by using Google.Originally posted by winkydink13My beautiful little batiks are ready to go BUT it seems that when I got in touch with my bank here in Australia they have never heard of a Visa gift card, the girl was very helpful and came up with something that maybe an option, she suggested that they draw up a foreign cheque or foreign draft which is done through Travel X and done in US dollars, this will cost us on this end $11.00 Australian over and above the postage and a lot of people will not be wanting that extra cost and I am still wondering if it will cost anything on your end the girl seems to think not, as it will be in US dollars, maybe another option is to get some Australian dollars exchanaged into US dollars and enclose the cash in with the batiks in a well marked envelope and register the parcel, don't know whether people will be too comfortable with that either, hopefully something can be worked out

Ritzy and International Participants
I have a PayPal account and can take the payments for shipping back to international participants. You would have to contact me to get my e-mail since you will need it to send the money. On the subject please write "Batiks-R-Us International"
To make the transfer you have to go to paypal.com and select to send money to family or friends on the main page. Once you enter the amount to be sent, it will calculate the fee and add it to your total. You can add a note to your transfer, please include your TQS ID, name and location.
The cost to mail the Small International Flat Rate box or envelope is $13.95 US (each will hold approx. 300 neatly packaged HSTs). Once you've completed your payment thru the PayPal account, please make a copy of the PayPal receipt and include it in your shipment. If you underestimate, we'll have to contact you to make another payment to cover the excess cost.
Once I receive notification of your transfer I will e-mail Ritzy, your TQS ID, name, location and amount received, so she can keep track on her list too.
When I have received all the transfers, I will mail a check to Ritzy so she can send your HST back.
Hope this all makes sense. Please let me know if this would work or if you have a better or different way of doing it.Lizzy Down Under

Like all busy people who get things accomplished....she doesn't "find" the time....she MAKES the time to do things that are important to her!Originally posted by BeverlyNThat's totally awesome that Alex is joining in. Where on earth does she find the time?

I have had many kind offers for help with the PayPal and I thank you. I still think that the Visa gift card is the way to go. I know the ladies in Australia said there was some problem but Lizzyanne has figured it out and I am hoping she will be able to post here how she did it. We have two ladies in UK that are working together to get their squares here and, as far as I know, the ladies from Canada are not having any trouble. Thank you again for your generous offers--ritzy

Ritzy, I have looked into the visa gift cards and cant find ANYWHERE in UK that sells them. There is a mastercard gift card but that can only be bought as £25 or £50 so no use. I will talk to Rosemary, but I think we may need to either take up someone's kind offer for paypal or just send dollar notes in our parcels. I'll get back to you on this one.
