HERE IS THE LATEST COUNT AFTER PROCESSING YESTERDAY'S PACKAGES:
521 Packages containing 208,787 HSTs. There are 45 International packages, so far, and I'm waiting for two more to arrive from the UK & Australia.
Right now I only have 18 emails that I'm still waiting for packages for, so that might be just about it since tomorrow is the deadline.

Hmmm, if we put 208,787 HSTs together end to end, what is the distance they would reach :?: :?:Originally posted by NaneeWolfHERE IS THE LATEST COUNT AFTER PROCESSING YESTERDAY'S PACKAGES:

Thanks for the reminder! I'll give you several magic numbers:
#1 - Cmoellers
#100 - Ellenceleste
#200 - Jevans9949
#300 - radquilter
#400 - Squirrelie55
#500 - Mona Rose
Now the question is 'Will there be a #600?'

Wow..what a mathmatician we have in our midst! (I don't even know if I spelled mathmatician right and there's no spell check to help)
So that means I can say I have 8.24 miles of fabric stashed in my house right now! Ooops...I forgot about my 'other' stash. I'm figuring that if we add that in it might actually take it to the moon!

Impressive!Originally posted by tkwritrIf my calculation is correct, it would stretch approximately 8.238 miles. Wow! That is laid edge to edge. Point to point of the folded triangles would be a bit farther.

NY, NY to Munich, Germany - 4042 miles
NY, NY to Nairobi, Kenya - 7360 miles
NY, NY to Manilla, Philippines - 8509 miles

This is truly a global project. Cool! Clara

Nevermind. Had a blonde moment. I thought it said 8234 miles not 8 point 238 miles. I knew this project was getting really big in my head, but wow.   I personally think getting HST's from Debbie and Clara are right up there with Edyta, Alex, Ricky, and Margo...the super sensational six Golden Tickets to this fabulous SOTTT! All of you are the "absolute best"! I wouldn't have missed this quilting experience for the world. And to Rosemary...your humor and song writing was so much fun! I love your kind of humor...you are one talented woman! I can't wait to open my "special" package of HST's and begin my quilt! To quote Bob Hope..."Thanks for the memories!"
