You will find some helpful tips for navigating the TQS forum here: http://forum/forum-questions-and-sug...-the-tqs-forum
That link includes a link to the Signature info which can be found here: http://forum/forum-questions-and-sug...s-on-the-forum
For what it's worth, some people (including me!) had to try a couple of times to get the signature just the way we wanted it to show up. Don't get discouraged!
Just print out the directions and take them one step at a time. You can do it!

Uh oh. Got the papers last week. Got my fabrics picked out. Now I can't get to my studio (abt 12 miles away) because of the weather: ice now, snow to come! Thank goodness the deadline isn't for awhile. But I'm sure you all can relate to being so excited to begin!

I just wanted to thank the member who suggested using the walking foot to sew the HST with the paper. It worked like a dream. I had forgotten why I don't do paper piecing anymore. I figured it out when I started sewing. I hate the sound of the needle going throught the paper and fabric. It's like fingers on a chalk board. Gives me the willies!! But I will keep soldiering on as I want to be in this exchange. I also remembered I hate removing the paper. Edyta's paper is better than some I have used. I am making extras for a quilt I have not even thought about. I did order one of Edyta's books. I hope everyone is using a smaller stitch so I can get the paper off.

Just a quick tip that I discovered tonight when cutting apart some of my HSTs....I have a fairly severe astigmatism, and my eyes were straining trying to decipher which line to focus on between those on my cutting mat, lines on my ruler, and the lines on the HST papers...I got the bright idea to flip over my cutting mat to the unmarked side and VOILA!!! my eyes settled down and it was much easier to focus on the right lines! I have my HST ready to mail. I stopped by the post office today to get the boxes. To send two boxes to Texas, I got a small and medium. Tonight I put 637 HST in the small box and then the small box in the medium. They fit fine, so I know I am ready to send them to Texas. If you put them in quart bags they don't move around.
Tomorrow is another project ready to be on it way.

I bet you never imagined that we would end up with so many participants! It was truly amazing to watch the excitement grow. Now we have to let you get back to your real sewing life, except of course for those trips to the post office.
And we all are sewing and cutting, planning our wonderful quilts.
