I got the chance to sew and cut my first batch tonight. The first paper I sat down to cut, I immediately cut straight through the middle of four triangles. How could I do that? Well, it was easier than it looks. I've since altered my cutting procedure. So... the twenty four left from that first page will be sitting here waiting in a plastic bag for all it's new little friends to come join it-- they're my favorite colors so will be a good focal point for the quilt, in whatever design takes place. The second paper went smoothly. I've also printed labels that are return address size with my screen name, real name and location. They fit wonderfully on the triangles. I'm really loving this lightweight paper Edyta uses.Ellen Lindow

Thanks!!!!!! I've got you on the list and will contact you closer to April when we really know what we are up against. ClaraOriginally posted by debkendallI'm signed up for the exchange already, but I just wanted to offer to help Debbie and Clara if you need it. I live in Spring and would be available pretty much any time.
I've gotten so excited watching the list grow! I'm glad to be a part of it.

Edyta is participating! Ricky and Alex have an honorary spot open when they come back from Africa and decide to jump in. This exchange is way beyond what we were expecting by far. Kinda cool. ClaraOriginally posted by LadybugQuilterI know that Edyta, Ricky & Alex have many committments making them super busy people! Not to mention that they are traveling right now but it sure would be nice to get a HST from them or maybe we could have a drawing/contest to get a few? (Just a random thought)
BTW, do they know how wildly popular this has become? It's almost like the Susan Boyle You Tube Phenomenon! See what you all started

This seems like just the thing to get myself back in the TQS groove... and since I came across this just today, then only had time to watch the show & read the plan tonight, I'm getting in just under the deadline... Must have been meant to be! Don't know how many yet, have to do some math because I like making big quilts but don't have a pattern in mind just yet. Looking forward to the fun!
So.... I'm in!!

You have until April 1st to get the HST done. Plan away and have fun. My brain is working overtime on idea.
