Yearning for your handwork to be appreciated?

This documentary is an encouragement to me to keep up with passing on the lost art of handwork. Machines will never replace ALL that we contribute. Especially our creativity! Thanks for Mary Corbitt of NeedleandThread.

Thanks Lynn, I really enjoyed it. I think I must have been a hand embroiderer in a former life.

Margo, what a fantastic avatar for 2014! Looking good girl.

Lynn, thank you for posting that link. Really makes me appreciate hand embroidery so much more now that I know what these wonderful ladies did to help support their families. And we think we have it rough.

Fascinating video, Lynn. Thanks for posting it! I love handwork, but can't even imagine how difficult it was to sew all day and into the night like these women and girls did.
