I am sorry to hear all you are going through. So glad you only have one more round of chemo! and very thankful your husband is home right now. What a special gift from your fellow quilters! By the way, your daughter's birthday party sounded like wonderful fun for her and her friend (I wasnt able to comment on yourblog post). She is a beautiful young lady :-)

Thank you all for your support and your comments about my blog posting. I had a hard time getting things set up with my iPad. It wouldn't allow me to add more than one photo, so had to do it with the desktop computer and got confused with selecting the comments option, "chemo brain", I knew this phrase would be so handy  . It's been fixed now, me thinks. We had a great time celebrating DD's birthday. She loves girly girl stuff, the fancier the better!

Finally the Benadryl worn off yesterday midday and now is crashing time. Still having some allergy like symptoms. Nothing major, just annoying. We'll see what the doctor says later when I go for the Neulasta shot (the one to get my blood white cell count up) which gives me more allergy symptoms. At least i can sleep now. Oh boy! The fun just doesn't stop  :?

Ouch! Rough day again, what a Monday! If you ever feel dizzy, too weak or like passing out, do not try to walk. Slid down to the floor and crawl to where you need to get. You might spare yourself a cut on your eyebrow, specially if you have tile flooring. If you have those symptoms, try to check your blood pressure, more likely will be ridiculously low, 58/35. More likely you're blood sugar is very low too. Eat some fresh fruit, if available, or some honey, sugar, a piece of candy, regular soda. The best is the fruit for it's natural fructose. You should feel way better in a short time. Try to do this, before you take care of the cut, it might be easier to cut those butterfly bandages. Now, if the cut needs stitches, just rush to the ER. After calling the doctor's office they wanted me to go to the ER to get fluids but, since I already had taken care of the cut, I decided to stay bed ridden at home for the rest of the day and drink oral electrolytes.
Tomorrow will be a better day!

Oh, Ouch ! That must be a horrible sensation !! Good job on the butterflys, tho !....Golly,
I hope you are feeling better tonight ! Sending love and thoughts of strength !

Ow! You're very brave dealing with it all but Limbania get someone to take you to ER with a BP like that and it's effect, you really need help.

Hope it's a better day and you pick up. Congratulations on getting another lot of chemo out of the way (almost), another step nearer recovery. Hugs

Ouch! not fun! as you say - if feeling dizzy get down on the floor and get your feet up the wall until things calm down a bit. It is the safest place to be whilst planning your next move. Hugs & prayers from here too.

In my family we say that feeling dizzy is to 'come over all unnecessary' and I remember 'coming over all unnecessary' after cutting a chunk of skin off the knuckle of my ring finger, so I laid down on the floor in my room, with my finger in my mouth - to stem the bleeding & so I couldn't look at it, and planning out what I had to bandaged it, where the things were and which way to move first when I felt well enough to.

Good thinking, Rosemary. Should I need that plan of action, I am hoping I remember what to do!
