My son, Matthew, is in the Air Force and is a member of the honor guard. His sweet wife posted this link on facebook. That is Matthew, playing Taps at a Memorial Day service in Florida. I'm so proud I can't hold it all in.

I'm involved in a very small way with Quilts of Valor and the reason is this: it is so easy to go on our merry way and not even THINK about all those servicemen/women out there who are serving and protecting our freedom every day.

It keeps me cognizant in a small way of the sacrifices and gift I have been given each and every day!
