I'm not famous, but the other two are!

Laura and Frieda were special guests at the AGM of the British Quilters' Guild. It was great to see them again.

Actually, you are very famous, in our little world!
Fab that you got to meet and chat with the two fusology specialists! What fun! Hope you had a general great time.

You are, Lorchen, in our world and I'm sure in a few other worlds around you. Love your photo, and of course Laura and Frieda look good too. Seems as you all had a wonderful time!

What a great photo Lorchen. You look better and better in each photo! I hope you had fun with the doyens of the Chicago school of fusing! BTW I love the quilt behind you. It looks so like one my aunt made for us when we were children.

                    Thank you, my friends (blushing)!

I have known Frieda and Laura for some years now, and love their attitude. They both take quilting and design serious, and their enthusiasm is infectious. Their styles are easily recognizeable, but they keep exploring and pushing the bounderies.

If you have never handled them or seen them in real life, Laura's hand-dyed threads are superb for hand embroidery, and Frieda's hand-dyed fabrics are so beautiful, you'll find it difficult to take your rotary cutter or scissors to them.
