Anybody on here speak Russian well enough to translate this?

It's a beautifully knitted rug. Some of it I can get using my computer translator, but it doesn't do ALL things. ha

WOW!! Lynn that is beautiful!! My browser doesn't translate the text on the photos, so I'm guessing that's what you need?
You starting another project??? If so, please share your progress!!

No, not yet. Today and yesterday piecing a whole bunch (technical term) of random strips in a bright/bold 40x40 for nursing homes for Christmas. Just about ready to sandwich and then try some of Kimmy's (Brunner) new ideas from Craftsy's video of her teaching. It's GREAT!!!!

The other one is a baby quilt I threw together and had signed by a women's group for one of our young women in the church whose preggers. It was fun, including doing the frogs on my HQ16! ha

A member of our local guild is Russian, so I will show this to her. Don`t expect a quick answer, though, because she has an 8-year-old, and is heading up the organization of our spring Quilt Show in April. She may put it on the back burner.

Lynn, where do you find these things, it's amazing and wonderful! I don't speak Russian so I can't help with the translation sorry.

Well, Rita, it was on somebody's FB page. I immediately thought, "Oh, that would be fun with my odds/ends of yarn!"

There is a free mini class on Craftsy.com called 'Short Rows' where Carol Faller uses a technique that would really work with this Russian rug. I had never heard of any of the techniques she uses before so I really enjoyed it. Pity I stopped knitting about 5 years ago. Mind you, that didn't stop me getting out the needles and wool (well of course I still have a stash of wool  ) and having a go.

Well of course you still have the stash - it is needed for house insulation

Well, I did put some of the words in google and think between that and the great pictorials I could figure it out. I'm so darn visual. Just reading won't do it---especially if it's not English! ha

I have done short rows on socks before. They are pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
