Tom Russell has a great blog!

Tom Russell is a new blogger, and he is as talented with words as he is with fabric!
You might remember Tom from Simply Quilts where he participated in Alex's Scrap Bag Challenge and created this quilt:

See the Simply Quilts episode here:

I'm honored to be mentioned in Tom's entry today!

And for what it's worth, Kathy Drew took her first machine quilting class from me, but obviously she's taken it to a whole new level and she is definitely a real artist!

Margo...thank you for recommendation. I just spend a half an hour reading some entries. I love his quilting... and his writing style.
And, Tom had some nice words to say about you! How great is that...

I just watched Tom's episode on Simply Quilts, and I loved the way he made his leaves! Also, he obviously has a great eye for color and design. I wonder if Alex and Ricky could get Tom to appear on the show?? I'm so glad that the link to the show was provided. I will be going to his website in just a few minutes.

          Thanks,

          Kathy in CA
