Hi. The lady in Canada was the 50,000th member to sign up. The way I understand it, the winner is yet to be announced.

Alex said in her podcast that they have to give the winner 30 days to respond. As it hasn't been posted yet, I wonder if the person drawn is not a current/active member. Unless they are waiting to post because they are going to make a visit to her/his home like the Publisher's Clearing House Prize Patrol and make a videocast!

I think that the 50,000 member count is counting EVERYONE who has ever signed up. I did a star member search tonight and the count was 7,739. The basic member count was 36,300. Those numbers don't add up to 50,000.

So the winner could have signed up early on and hasn't again since, moved and taken up a different hobby! Oh well, hopefully it is a regular contributer who has just gone on holiday.
