ABC News: Quiltmaking Group Donates Quilts to the Sick in N

I just caught the end of ABC News with Charlie Gibson and the Person of the Week was Piecemakers Quilting Group in Henderson, Nevada. Two great national news stories in less than a week to show case what a wonderful group we belong to.

    Sandy,
I saw it too. Wasn't it nice to see men helping out too. It's nice to know they enjoy the process as much as women do. Right, Ricky??

I watched it too! I got tears in my eyes. I just love making quilts for charity - that's part of why I love being in a guild. Guess what? I've donated 11 project linus quilts so far this year! NA

Good for you, Nancy Ann. I just finished a quilted tote I donated at my LQS for a silent auction. The proceeds will go to breast cancer research. It really feels great to do what you love and have it benefit those in need. Thanks to every one at TQS for their share in the good quilters do. And blessings on this holy day for those who celebrate Easter. Gloria from snow covered, dumped on, neverending winter Wisconsin.
