Oh, Eileen, I told my husband just this weekend that my goal for this year is to go back to Houston this fall, and I too will have to work really hard and save to get there!
Elizabeth, nice to meet you! And don't worry about overloading Margo, we all do :? -- I really think we should call her our Forum Angel, instead of List Mother, or whatever the last term was. By the way, you might go back and check out the Daily Blogs from about November 5 or 6 to see the quilt we made for Margo. It's certainly not enough, but it was a token of our affection for her.
Lynn, yes, I'm pretty sure I saw a commitment to Ruffled Roses in some of your comments

Do most hand quilt the Dear Jane when finished? I do love hand quilting and just wondering if I should tackle it with hand quilting. I quess I am from the old school. It takes away if it is not hand quilted? But I don't have the time to hand quilt every quilt I make. But the Dear Jane is an unusual quilt or special with all the work that goes into the blocks.

Lynn, I love your DJ quilt so far. I am working in rows, doing 3 blocks and 1 triangle, working on row H now, so I am a bit over half done. I sew the blocks together as I go. Doing all the piecing and applique by hand. How is every one doing on their DJ so far. (I will probably quilt it by hand, too).

Hi Margarita,
I love hand work but I started to do the blocks in paper piecing lately since I just learned how to pp. I am thinking this is a quilt to hand quilt though and maybe I should do more piecing by hand. I will see how it goes. Please stay in contact. Maybe we can learn from each other!
