I am getting more confident with the embellishing. It has been years since I have sewn dresses for the girls and added that girly touch. I now look at the crazy clearance findings and bobbles differently when I am shopping. After Christmas clearance will be a blast this year.

Great trees. I'll have to make some for next year... Fab idea. And perfect for aaqi sales in Houston I would imagine, as people can buy them as early Xmas prezzies...

What great gifts for your daughters, Aileen--all very pretty and I was particularly taken by the stocking, really fun and different! I'd never seen your blog so I scrolled through it all--it looks like you have a great time with all the projects you take on! Happy holidays to you too!

Thank you Ladies. Quilting keeps me sane.

Next few months I will be working on flannel burp rags (is there a better name for these), baby blankets, receiving blankets for Grandbaby #3 due in March.
Of course some more AAQI quilts.

              Happy Holidays to ALL

I called them by their old english name of 'posset cloths'. But just bought myself a pack of a dozen cloth nappies to use (after advice from my big sister, who had her kids well before me)

Thank you for the new name "Posset Cloths". Sounds so much better. I sewed flannel onto one side. I had washed the diapers before sewing. They look pretty but warped a bit. I am not going to worry about it. DD#2 tends to wash everything on hot and bleach the daylights out of them. She wanted me to dye the nappies but I was afraid the baby may have a reaction or they would look so faded from the repeated bleaching that is coming there way.
