Good to know all this valuable information regarding these pens & etc. Didn't know Sharpies had acid in them. Not that I have used them on cloth but I have been using others. Still looking to order Fabrico pens.

I just found Fabrico markers on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=pd_sl_59...abrico+markers --they are made by Tsukineko. Is that what you were looking for, Lois?

Has anybody used Faber-Castell PITT artist pens? It says on the packet that they are pigmented India ink, extremely lightfast, waterproof, permanent, odorless, acid-free, pH neutral.

Perfect timing! Check out today's episode 1111 with Cindy Walter: watch/

At minute 40:18 she briefly mentions fabric markers.

I just picked up a silver metallic Marvy DecoFabric marker with a 3 mm tip and tried it on black fabric: it worked beautifully! Thought I'd pass this on.

I saw the Faber-Castell PITT artist pens at the same store where I got the Marvy pen but did not know what to make of them--next time I'll pick up one and play with it. Thanks, Rita, for mentioning it. I'm really new at all this marker, pen stuff!

The same to you Clara. Without your initiative we would not have had this opportunity to share our creative talents with the quilting diaspora.

Things must be getting desperate amongst this disparate division of devotees. Provided we don't get too delusional we should be ok.

Happy tucking into turkey to you all.

Time to trapunto and bind the turkey, appli-que the pie, patch the crust, mix media the sauce and gravy, and piece it all together! Oh no I have been in the kitchen too many hours today and not quilting.

Good night and Happy Thanksgiving to all I'll still be in the kitchen tomorrow!
