Ann congratulations on having 3 quilts at Houston. I think there is one of mine going anyway.
Lois, thank you for buying that spool quilt.
And Clara, I have numbers for my latest two:
'Waiting for Summer to Return' - 11,910.
'Gallarus Oratory' - 11,911.
They are heading off in the post today.

I couldn't resist it! It was especially irresistable when I read that Maureen made the reel. That made me want to have something of my TQS friends in my sewing room.Originally posted by ReetzbobeetzAnn congratulations on having 3 quilts at Houston. I think there is one of mine going anyway.

Don't worry! Almost every quilt over #9000 will be going to Houston. It is just a slow process as Ami and her group of local volunteers prepares the paperwork, the price tags and gets them ready to ship. She is aiming for 2,000 quilts total. Want a giggle? These will be shipped to Houston in rolling bins that look very much like garbage cans. Watch her blog in a few weeks - last year she got a great picture of her UPS man with two (or maybe it was three) of them. They ship to AAQI Board Member Kathy Kennedy-Dennis (who lives in Houston) and then when Beth and Ami and Debby get to Houston to set up the booth they drive them over to the convention center.

That's exciting! Mine are in the waiting to be assigned queue, so will probably get to go (although I'll definitely understand and be very happy if they are used in other ways). You guys have a lot of quilts to go through. What a big job! Thanks for doing it!! We all really appreciate the time and effort you put into this project!!

Sure, Lois - they will keep them in roughly numeric order even in the booth, although they will probably be sorted a bit according to subject matter. So if you walk in and say you want to see a landscape quilt #10,xxx they should be able to find it for you. Also, some of the quilts will have a brief life on the For Sale page, as they get priced and are waiting for a "ticket" (physical price tag) and you could also snag it there, but it's so much fun to visit the booth in Houston!Originally posted by loise98I have a question for Diane. If you have your eye on one particular one that is probably going to Houston is there any way to find it when you visit the booth in Houston?
