saturday was the anniversary of my aunt's passing. earlier on she had looked after her husband as his health was failing due to alzheimers. her fabulous strength, willpower and love allowed him to spend the last years of his life at home, in his known surroundings with all his family and friends.
so saturday was therefore my day for making my first AAQI quilts - i can say - not just the shopping of these little lovelies is addictive - the making of them can also become it's own disease... may it rampage

i received my registration numbers today, tomorrow they'll be mailed:

                nr. 11421 Two Chooks

                nr. 11422 Garden Fantasy

                nr. 11423 Happy Flower

may they spread happiness & fun

Lotti and Aileen, your priority quilts are so creative and colorful. Lotti, thank you for the inspiration you draw from your aunt's story of love in making her husband's life comfortable until the end, in such a loving environment. That was so touching to read.
