The ladies who are helping Ami with the processing and posting of these little quilts are great. They are very easy to communicate with. For example, every time I buy something they (this time Debbie) send me an email, listing the various choices of sending the quilts from the US to the UK, with prices, and I can pick whichever option I like best.

All I can say: Go on! Give these ladies some more work!

Clara, what you did was so nice! I think it makes those who made a Priority Quilt want to make more and those who never did want to start now. Thank you, you did good!

Hi, all. I'm one of the volunteers with AAQI and looove getting your orders ready to ship out to you. Lotti, you really did us a service by contacting Ami with your problem. She spent hours on the phone last Monday trying to get this resolved. If you hadn't said anything, who knows how many others would have tried the same thing and then just given up?

Clara, a great big THANK YOU for all you do to support the AAQI. Your quilts seen in person are fab-u-lous! Last year was my first visit ever to the Houston quilt show. I did the show for 2 days and worked in the AAQI booth for 2 days. People would come with a list of who they were buying for and carefully make their selections. One was to be for a science teacher, and yup, a perfect quilt was found. So yes, all types of themes are welcomed.

I'd forgotten about "registering" with you and better get my numbers to you , Clara!

Keep up the great work, everyone!

great smilebox - and great quilts!

really gives those of us who have been oh so lax in getting our AAQI quilts made and/or registered the incentive to get our act together !!!
guess what i'll be working on part of this weekend :P

oh - great new picture, rita!

Fun slide show! As I watched it, I couldn't help but note how many of those quilts that have been donated by TQS quilters have already been sold! Snatched right up when put on the For Sale page! Others have gone in auctions (a couple are in this month's auction). Others will go to Houston. You guys have done a fantastic job! Thank you!!!!!

Thanks for the nice words! Putting together the smilebox wasn't that hard, what made it so cool was all the eye candy in quilts. My boys would watch me run it over and over again to make sure I didn't leave anything out and the speed was ok. One even said after asking me what it was all about "Wow, those little quilts do really big things don't they!" Yes, they do. If the only thing that could possibly come out of this was a good example for my boys, then it can only get better from here. Thanks guys for helping the slideshow have that WOW factor because of all your quilts!!!!!

Diane and LovinQuiltin, I will see you at the booth in Houston! I can't help it, I always have to stop by. The energy is so much fun. Clara

I don't go to Houston - I (try to) keep the sold quilt records straight from here and do whatever computer/web site work they need done. I have MS and could never manage the days of high energy needed.

Anyone interested in a link for the smilebox slideshow to share with family members, send me an email through my profile and I will forward you the email. It's not a copy/paste thing or I would post it here.

Diane, sorry to hear the reason for missing Houston. We will just have to keep meeting on the forum for now.

I just posted the smilebox on facebook too. Trying to encourage other quilters to join us and maybe join TQS as well.
