I feel the same way. I have bouts that I just can't get my juices flowing.

Here is my June quilt for AAQI # 10859. I wanted something with attitude! See my BLog for more info about HOO ME! at http://quilting-alleycat.blogspot.com/

                          Hi all -

I finished a couple of new quilts this weekend:

They will go into my box of quilts that I will register and ship in the fall...

They're lovely! Kittens are just the cutest! The Square in the square has wonderful quilting on it!

I am trying to do different styles of FMQ in my little quilts to get some practice.

Making quilts For Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative is a great outlet to try new things, new ideas! I started writing them down because the "What if's?" come flying out of my head so much faster for the little quilts than they do you the large ones. It is such a wonderful cause. I hope to continue making little quilts until I can't pick up a needle.

Hi Aileen - I have a list, too! Isn't that funny? But I don't think I've even gotten around to one on the list yet because so many others keep popping up!

Writing a list or a journal full of thoughts is like a river of fish spawning. Each of the fish is a creative idea. By filling the river full of fish all you have to do is grab one when you are ready. You are just keeping your creative river full of fish by doing the lists and journals. It's a great way to encourage the creativity to flow. It is better not to do most and to keep the energy and passion alive and productive. Enjoy doing what you love.
