Barbara, Robin referred to videos that are available. Where do we find them? Things were a bit jumbled at the first of her show today when I think she gave us that info.

Go to LEARN, open the Summer Bloom page and you will find all 3 videos right there.

I gambled and used my Christmas fabrics from my stash. I made one cutting error that was easily corrected. The directions are great and the videos are an added bonus! I am making the quilt and can't wait see how it all turns out .I am auditioning center fabrics.

My practice block complete. Pretty close to size, thanks to your detailed instructions. I cut the strips for the Christmas version. Thanks for leading us on this project. I've had the rulers for awhile, but before this I had only made one small table topper. So grateful for this opportunity.

I have finished with the compass. I used a bit of Ricky's hand dyed fabric for center and even used the double hem stitch to appliqué that he likes to use. As usual, I can not get my computer to co-operate with uploading the picture.

The photo is probably too big. Resize it smaller and try again, instructions are provided in this Forum for how to do that.

Sorry that I didn't totally understand your question. Read Page 1 in your book where it talks about the straight edge ruler. You can simply either put a tape l60˚ line or draw a 60˚ angle line down the middle of any straight edge ruler to make them work. Most straight edge rulers have the angles on one end or the other which can make them frustrating to use. If you find you can't make a full cut when placing you 60˚ line on the seam, try turning the ruler around 180˚ and seeing if it will work then to make a full cut. I will make sure to demo using other straight edge rulers on the Live that I do with The Quilt Show on August 4th. When I first started out with this method, my Angle Ruler did not exist. You can make most straight edge rulers with a 60˚ angle work so you don't have to buy mine. Again, I will demo on August 4th. Thanks so much for reaching out so that I can share this info with everyone.

THANKS Robin, I appreciate your answer... I did order your ruler on your website, hope it's in the mail. I'm just so excited to get my practice blocks done. I've got all my fabric ready to go.
