I finally applique my summer bloom to my background. The colours/fabrics are definitely out of my comfort zone, but I LOVE it. Thanks Robin.

Just finished hand-sewing the binding and now this baby is done and hanging on the wall! Woo-hoo! This is one quilt that I enjoyed working on from beginning to end. The instructions were very clear but made even better with the video directions. Thank you so much TQS to making this available and Robin Ruth for developing this project and walking us through with such skill.

Loaded and basted. I had a few autumn items to finish first, and now I'm excited to move on the Christmas. I have to admit, this is the first time I used my longarm to baste.... So easy! And thanks to your techniques and guidance, my top lays nice and flat!

This looks so good! Yay! So glad you were successful and that you have enjoyed this sew along class! Thanks so much for sharing and hoping you'll start another project soon! Lots new and new things coming down the pike - and several new sew alongs!

My finished top. Now to get backing fabric and get it in line for the Longarm. I have really enjoyed this class and learning how to use Robin's rulers. Because of the method and great teaching, I had success. I hope to take another of Robin's classes soon.

Okay everyone! It is officially the end of September but that doesn't mean you have to be done yet.I wanted to get my second sample done to show you so here are some pics below. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your progress and hoping you all will keep posting as this project will be active until next June. There is still time to make that tree skirt, or maybe another bloom for the new year. Thanks for all the kind words as this really helps me to keep going down this creative path. Yay!

All ready for my background! I plan to take this to my LQS and see what we can find for a background...since everything else came from my stash, I feel I can splurge a little. I've enjoyed every minute of this project - thanks for the fun, knowledge and inspiration, Robin!
