I’m also trying to catchup. I was so eager to participate in this project but it started in the midst of canning season for me. I’ve been taking advantage of extra minutes to work on it but I’d prefer working a few hours at a time. My strata is done and I’m excited to see it transformed into a Kool Kaleidoscope!

I am STUCK. My paper goes together perfect. But when sewing there is a 1/4" gap at the 3rd, 4th and 5th junction. You can see in the picture. The one that is sewn does not come together at that area. This is the exact same area that Tim pointed out as a "problem area". He said people don't add the 1/4" here and they leave a point. I know I added the seam allowance HELP.

Drjonih8, Those are good pictures. I am not sure, but I think Ricky Tims said that people make the mistake of starting 1/4 inch
from the point. And that is wrong. You need to start the seam, 1/4 inch in. This is the screen shot he put up in his video. The
first diagram is the correct placement of the two shapes. The other 2 are wrong, often used when people don't under stand the
way to figure it out. Hope this helps. HelenW
The website only loaded the first one. Which is the correct one. The description is in lesson 3 about 1/3 the way in.HelenW

No, the problem, is the very small section where 3 meets 5. It is 1/4 inch short - exactly - and all of them are the same. At this point, I just want to correct it and not make it a mess. I've tried a couple of things and could be in trouble on two sections. I don't want to toss this. I really like it. How can I fake it if I can't fix it. HELP
