    Challenge for Margo!

This one is for you, Margo, and you have the the whole of March to do it:

Find a technique that you have never tried before and use it to make a small wallhanging.

Should you accept this......... etc. etc......... This message will self-destruct after 10 seconds!

Did it. . .last month! I made this wall hanging and my firsts were:
free motion feathers; machine blanket stitch on the applique; 3-D flowers, loose stems and beads!!! This project was so out of my box and so much fun!

Norma, it's really not like I don't sew at all! (Click on the photos for a closer view.)

Week before last I finished the assembly on my Bouquet of Friendship quilt top:

Last week I made a baby quilt for a great nephew (in colors requested by his mother):
                        Check out the quilting!

I now have a quilt for the new baby's brother on the frame:

Working small is going to be part of the challenge for me!

I take it that eating and sleeping aren't very high on your 'to do' list, Margo That is some organised & dedicated turnover!

Trust me, I do the eat/sleep thing....it's the cleaning and yard work that have sort of fallen off my priority list!

Yard work is no longer necessary since I moved into an apartment. I missed the flower beds the first summer but not since then. My flower garden cravings are now fulfilled with being drawn to floral quilts, like that beautiful one that Margo has made. Your quilts are all nice but the floral friendship one is a show stopper.
