Sharon Schamber Design Video
Wow-has anyone else seen this video? I just watched Sharon Schamber design a whole cloth quilt. I was enthralled and will probably watch this over and over. http://www.sharonschambernetwork.com...g-Process.aspx

BJ, that background is part of a quilt that Sharon designed to be raffled for the 2011 International Quilt Festival in Houston. She showed the beginning of her design process for her Premium Members but didn't show all of it. The technique was similar to what she shows in this video, and it was fascinating. I am no longer a premium member, so I don't know if the videos are still available or not. The quilt is called "Yellow Rose of Texas"Originally posted by SewdreamyI saw it. It's amazing! I am inspired. Sharon has taught me sooooooo much. Also, I thought her painted background was fantastic.

Margo, thanks for the tip. I have not yet watched all her videos. All of them still seem to be available, so I'll look it up. I used her painting technique from the quilt fairy's ear to get the right look on the big shell my mermaid is sitting on...I can hardly wait to see how it looks after it's quilted. I have noticed she has a lot of very good free videos on the site for those of you who aren't members.

I'm bringing this topic back to the top. I recommended it to Katzz and she has picked up a lot of great tips for the wholecloth she is designing.
Basically, this process is like Ricky's Rhapsodys!!
