Sharon was on Simply Quilts. She hasn't been on The Quilt Show, however I would love to see her on the show. I bought the book written by Sharon and it is called, "Piec-lique". I think you are thinking of the show with Laura Wasilowski. Episode 303 – Fearless Fusing (Laura Wasilowski)

Thanks girls -- you would think with a name like mine I would remember Sharon Shamber -- but I also think it was Laura Was... All this snow has frozen my brain.

        Thanks again

          Sharon,

You might look at the show with Pam Holland (110). She does a style of work called drapplique. If that's not the person, it could be Laura Wasilowski (303).

          Good Luck.

If we all whine enough or beg pretty please, maybe Sharon Schamber will come on the show.
I have her book "Piece by Piece" and I've had to wipe the drool off several times.

I met Sharon at the Arizona Quilters Guild show in Phoenix last month and I almost wet my pants... I got all nervous and sweaty... My mom laughed at me! She is one of my quilting goddesses - up there with Harriet Hargrave and Caryl Bryer Fallert and Joen Wolfrom and Jinny Beyer and Margaret Miller. And of course, Ricky and Alex. Sharon Schamber would be great to have on the show! I've read both her books and my little sister took one of her classes and said it was exceptional.

 Keith, I got that when I met Ricky for the first time. It made me think of how it might have felt as a teenager in the 60's meeting the Beatles. The nearer I got to his booth the faster my heart thumped. It was wonderful to find what a down to earth, friendly guy he is. He is definitely my Quiltgod!! Pam

You know, that's really my bad... Ricky and Alex are so wonderful AND so accessible - they are in my den anytime I want them; I forget what it was like. My heart raced a little getting closer to Ricky's booth the first time - and then it was only Justin. That happened twice before I met Ricky. (Please don't get mad Justin, I love you too, but it's a little different with Ricky...)

And I ran into Alex unexpectedly at a show- I just turned a corner and there she was - she said something that made me realize she remembered me from 10 years before. That almost made me squeal with delight AND wet my pants at the same time! I've only been a member for a few months, I shouldn't forget how lucky we are...

And (Hi Pam!) I went to A LOT of concerts in high school and college... It IS kind of like that. Especially now. I don't think I would have thought so when I was 17.
