                    My daughter told me that was the trick for spikes when she was in high school...but I always wondered how do you sleep at night!?! :roll: Guess that means I 'm getting old!

                      While shopping yesterday, I happened to be in the school and office supplies and saw that Elmer's now has a "spray glue" that is temporary and washable. Good idea for using on machine embroidery to temporarily hold fabric in place. Haven't tried it yet but might be less expensive then the "505" spray adhesive.

                        Does washable mean it will wash out??? There are a number of Elmer's spray adhesives on their website, but not enough detailed information to answer this question as far as I can see. Sure is an intriguing idea.

                          Susan, the link I listed above gives a recipe for making your own spray glue. Mix Elmer's School Glue with water in a 1:1 ratio, and add a drop or two of liquid dish detergent. Pour into a spray bottle and you're good to go. Since you know what's in it, it seems like there should be no worries about being able to wash it out.
