Nancy, I too had difficulty downloading some of the tutorials. One wasn't in PDF format and I had to have some specialized software or an account with some website, so I stopped doing them. Plus the daily e mails selling different quilt related items was making it hard to distinguish the lessons from the ads, so I am actually going to opt out. It's a great idea, it was just too much for me to keep up with right now.

I don't know how but I have managed to get an email with the right lesson each month. And I don't get any extra ads on a daily, weekly or monthly basis either. The only one I have not done is the Cindy Needham one. I downloaded it and read it but then I forgot to actually practice it. I will do it when I get back from Kerry. I have really enjoyed the challenges each month and it has really helped with my confidence in FMQ. I still have a long way to go but I am definitely getting better. Practice is the main thing.

I've had the same experience as Rita; I just get the notice of the new month's challenge. I'm working on my Cindy Needham sample and have had fun with the design. I've learned something from each month and I've kept up so far although I did miss the bonus tutorial. (I didn't get a notice for that one.) It's been fun to see what other people have made and I'm becoming more confident with my skills.

When you sign up there are boxes to tick for what notifications, ads etc. you wish to receive so you can probably go back in and alter them.

I'm not surprised some of you haven't the time with all the triangles, spools and little quilts you make as well as other projects.

I have kept up with the challenge. I was a late starter too. The Cindy Needham part was a challenge for me because I really did not like my first many attempts to get it on paper. Finally I did something I like very much and I sewed the block last week. I have been in lack of time so did not post anywhere, but since you are my good quilting buddies here is a picture of the June challenge. I quilted the main motif with King Tut and the background with Kimono Silk. I plan to post the rest on my webpage some time in July where I will get time again.

Very nice, Norma! Can't wait to learn more about this piece. Just checked out your webcite and since I don't know Danish I will be limited to learn about your quilting here.

Lois, I am planning on a major change on my website and will write more in English when that happens. I have a feeling that quite a lot of my visitors are from outside Denmark. I asked my web host if it was possible to get some statistics on that but they said no.

Norma, I love what you have done! It makes me want to get at my machine immediately and try something out. I guess I have to draw it first though. I didn't know there was a bonus tutorial? I will have to go and have a look now. Thank ladies.

Norma - Your project is wonderful! I don't have problems with emails, I just have problems with the site itself for some reason. Early in the month, when I get the notice, the link to the tutorial isn't active for me. It's weird because it sounds like it's active for others. But it's great information and I try to remember to go in later.

Norma, what you did is exquisite! I really like the bounding in King Tut with flowing lines in and out of your main design and the airiness of the parts you did in Kimono silk. So balanced, so airy, so wonderful! Thanks for sharing!

                        Absolutely beautiful.

I wish I had drawn mine out first but I just chucked myself in head first to catch up and am making it up as I go along. It will not be abandoned.

Not pretty, not balanced and incoherent but I am so pleased because I have learn't a lot and like the motifs individually.

Wendy, think what you will but I see this piece as the beautiful first side of a bolster pillow--I like the motifs individually and in their combination! Well done!!! 8)

Yeah Wendy, I really like it too. I really like all the individual motifs and you have really made some of the designs pop. Bet you enjoyed doing it too!
