    how do I sew triangles?

Triangles are not my thing. I've done them, but a long time ago. But I decided to bite the bullet and make some for a border. I already cut them, so there's no turning back! I have 3" triangles using Marti Mitchell's 60 degree triangle ruler. So the top point is flat. I also have the little triangle to cut the points off and am trying to figure out out to place that on the triangles. After I do that, do I just simply line them up and piece them on the machine? I'm afraid they will all go cattywompus! Or should I make the 1/4" seam line and hand piece?
    Thanks
    Joan

Use a feeder piece to lead into the first one and chain piece. Since the triangles are equilateral they will line up nicely, particularly since you've snipped off the bunny ears prior to stitching. Stitch slowly and remember to breath. Don't tug on anything since you'll have a lot of exposed bias and you don't want to stretch them all out of shape.
    You can do this!

Just go for it, Joan! Those triangles won't bite.

For future triangle cutting sessions: Spray starch your fabric before cutting. It helps the bias edges to behave.

I did it!! I will use starch next time though! They were a little wiggly. And I even figured out how to chain piece! Today was a good quilting day! Thanks everyone!
