    Sunbonnet Sue/Bill etc. PLZ HELP!!

Hi All. I am doing several quilts, some full size, some crib size, and a couple wall hangings. Obviously I'm in love with Sunbonnet Sue and all the others. But my problem is that I don't know where to go to get other patterns. I've tried drawing them, ya right!!!!!! Now that was a disaster, LOL.

I am looking for patterns of all different Sue's, Bill's, etc. Not just the same ones in different fabrics.

Can anyone help? Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.

    Thanks for any assistance.
    Sharon

I like the books Sunbonnet Sue All Through the Year by Sue Linker and Fun With Sunbonnet Sue by Trice Boerens and Terrece Beesley.

Hey Alex has a few SS blocks she'd probably like to have someone put them together lol. (She was gifted with some about a year ago).

Since you like the SS's, I'm guessing you like to applique, but once I needed to make a block for a group quilt & (pre-2008 BOM!) I didn't applique much, I found a paper-pieced Sue & Sam block online. It was really cute, and would add variety if you wanted. Florence

I do like to applique. My method of choice is raw edge and using threads that match or contrast my pieces.

I just fell in love with the SS's as they evolved they each had personality and well, most of us quilters are all OCD in the sewing world! LOL

I found a couple references to books but they are out of print and I can't find any copies. Was thinking maybe someone knew of something I hadn't thought of. Good ideas here, unfortunately, I had already checked most of them out.

Thanks everyone! I'll continue my search and working on improving my drawing abilities!!!! LOL

A great place to find out of print books is on Amazon.com and on ebay. I've bought many books on both sites and I have never had one problem.
