    digital grounds

Anyone here use the stuff? I just ordered both the clear and the white opaque for trying out - it looks like a great way to combine digital work with an inkjet printer and fabric! Here's a link if you haven't heard of it.

Had to find out about this stuff - looks VERY interesting. There is a $50 video that tells all about it - seems a bit pricey. Impressed with illustrations that show how it creates very crisp images. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. LOVE new stuff!!

What exactly is it? I clicked on the web page and didn't see anything about what Digital Grounds is or how it helps. And I wouldn't want to spend $50 on a DVD without knowing more about what it is and what it is supposed to do.

So is this similar to bubble jet set? The previous link doesn't really touch on what is the advantage for fabric users?

Just chiming in, but I did read about this product in a photography book. If you paint it on wood, regular paper, hand made paper, etc, it allows you to print with an ink jet printer just like if you had the commercially available fine art ink jet paper. I can imagine that it would work for fabrics too.... They mentioned painting it on, but that's because you can't soak wood or paper! It might work with soaking the fabric. The product did allow for very fine detail but probably limited by the texture of what you're printing on.

This sounds exciting. I found more information through this link on the Golden site:

It is not like Bubble Jet from the description.
I would like to experiment with it.
