I haven't used the Magnifico yet although I have some to try. The description sounds a lot like FilTec Glide, which is my favorite quilting thread. Quilts like butter, never breaks and has a beautiful sheen!

Nancy, it is very similar to Glide. It has a lovely sheen to it and I believe they are the same weight.

I'm actually quilting the 2013 BOM with it! There were perfect color matches, and I liked the slight shine it has (like silk, but much less pricey!).

                  Janet,
Can you tell us what colors are included in the set from Superior? I already have some of this wonderful thread so I need to check to see what other colors I might need to order!

Lovely work Connie. I'm at the practice stage at present with the quilting. Hope to start in a few days time when I'm feeling more confident with it all.
The lady at my quilt shop suggested Rasant, it won't be as pretty a thread as yours, but it looks okay in my practice pieces, nice smooth look.

Thanks for the pic very encouraging.
