Ricky's Poly Stable Stuff for Month 5

I used Ricky's Poly stable Stuff to copy the star template and cut out the stars with a 1/4-inch border on both sides of the template. Then I cut right down the middle of one of the big triangles. I paper pieced the star starting with the material for the cut big triangle. After I made it all the way around the circle, I ended by sewing the last little triangle to the beginning large triangle. The circle is now complete. I will cut a piece of Ricky's stable stuff as big as the large circle with the additional 1/4 inch and sewing the front side of the star to the stable stuff and then turn the circle inside out and applique the large circle to the background after trimming the stable stuff to about 1/4 inch from the seam. Then I will make the small circle the same way and applique it to the large star circle.

Using Ricky's poly stable stuff worked great, but I found Margo's technique of using two halves of the template and then sewing them together worked much better.

Carol, it's great that we all keep experimenting and helping each other...that's what makes BOM so much fun! Thanks for sharing!

Can you use your good fabric scissors to cut Ricky's Tims poly stable stuff?
