Looks awesome Rita, congratulations. Your centre motif takes away from the spiky look and softens the whole effect, you must be pleased with the result, I know I am.

Rita, this will end up as another great quilt. I really like your design

Thanks so much everybody. It really feels like such an achievement to have got this done. Andrée I think it would be beautiful in blue and white too. Renata, our Bondaweb has 'Wonder Under' written on it in small type so I wonder is it the same thing? If I am every stuck again I will definitely ask how long it has been on the shelf in the shop because it obviously has a shorter shelf-life than Steam a Seam. Probably because it doesn't have the two layers of paper between the fusible or something.

Hey Rita, your quads are looking great - can you tell them apart?

They are all perfect in my eyes. ("We all think our geese are swans," as my mother once said to my DH when he suggested that our daughter was the most beautiful baby ever!)

                            Thanks Barb.

Connie, my mother is very quotable. When we were kids if we didn't do something that she had asked us to do quick enough she would say "oh, do it yourself Pat!". (Her name is Pat, just in case anybody is wondering   ) This has become a quote all 7 of her children use (usually in jest). But the funniest thing about it is that all my quilter friends now use it too and a friend of my daughter's also quotes it all the time.

Rita, your quilt is spectacular. Great choice in using the red. Have you decided what you're going to do in the borders as yet? Can't wait to see further pics.

Thanks Nancy. I have no idea what I will do for the border yet. I have an awful lot of left-over pieces from the centres of the big flowers so I may come up with something using them. But at the moment I am tending towards a pieced ribbon effect border.
