Or....maybe you could use some beads instead of appliqued circles???
What a great idea Margo, beads would have been a good choice! I was able to make the small circles using paper backed fusable and a three hole paper punch, once they were cut out it was pretty easy to attach with a small blanket stitch. Since I've already done that on my center blocks I think I'll continue the same method on the borders. I appreciate the suggestion! Deb

            Wow, Rita, beautiful, beautiful!!!

I have yet to stitch anything, but was planning on exploring the double blanket stitch. After seeing yours, I am really excited about it!

Had to give myself an attitude adjustment and remind Whiny Barb that we are here to learn new things. So she is in the corner in a time-out, and Positive Barb has launched back in on the circles. I do have to say that by golly now I know what not to do, and they are definitely coming along much more smoothly and certainly faster than before. (Shocker, I know hah!)

I have to explore the other techniques now, too, maybe even use them later in this quilt, who knows? Love learning, love it!

Rita, do you do stand up comedy along with your singing? Maybe you could have your own show in Las Vegas, then we could all jump on the TQS jet and come see it!
