In case Sue and Pat ever read the blog, I just want to be sure that they know how much we LOVE their design, and respect the work they did in writing the pattern and instructions. Margo's videos will be the frosting on the cake!

I've been sitting on the fence on this one telling myself I am nuts to start another project right now.... But this news is like a huge gust of wind. It's getting harder and harder to stay on this fence. I think I am about to fall off.

              Jeez people! No pressure!

I'm gathering supplies and trying to work out in my head a logical way to present all of this.
I am going to try to demonstrate 3 different ways to do paper piecing and explain the pros and cons of each technique as I see them.

              Stay tuned.....

I'm looking forward to trying 3 different ways to paper piece these sections. Thanks, Margo. I hope it's not too much work (or the pay is GREAT!

I will also look forward to seeing Margo's video's. I wasn't planning on doing this BoM but I do love the look of the sashing and hope to use it with a different set of blocks that I am anticipating from an exchange over on Threadbias. Which reminds me - I had better get on and start saving the instructions....

Should we be putting in our names in for more fabric if we've decided to paper piece? And if we decide to piece but still need some more fabric, should we be putting our names somewhere for that as well? I've already prewashed the kit fabic, so assume I will be short this first month. Thanks! And thanks, Margo, for providing us with a video. This visual learner is eternally grateful.

Aaaaah...sigh of relief. I LOVE this quilt. And I really want my skill set to match. I've already learned just from all of you sharing your processing of how to approach this.

Quilters are so generous. Thank you Sue and Pat for the gorgeous challenge and thanks Margo and Alex for making it happen for us!
