It's really a very hard quilt to photograph well because it is a night scene. I did see that Sue managed to get some good detail pics, but here are some that may help a bit. I really appreciate your interest. I think if you click on the pictures you can see them a bit larger, but I'm not sure.

It's funny how I noticed a few things I should have corrected while I was looking at it in the show but never saw at home. I'll fix them when it comes home.

Thank you Norma. I was trying to put most of the story of that incredible event in the quilt more than I was trying to make a competition quilt. So it pleases me that it was juried in and lots of folks got to see it. I plan on submitting it to several shows.

Of course it is kind of funny this has landed in "Paper pieced?" because nothing on this quilt is even remotely paper pieced.

We do love to digress though don't we? BJ, I am so happy for you that your quilt was in the show and so well received. Thanks for the close ups. Your quilting looks fantastic. Congratulations.

Back to paper-pieced, month 1 and 2 are DONE!!! with 3 hours to spare before month 3.
I wonder what joys month 3 will bring. Can't say I'll wait up until midnight to find out. Or is it March 1 mountain time when we get new directions?

I will probably be joining in the fun & games of month one's sashing for a pile of 12" exchange blocks - I was even thinking of attempting random  (my brain doesn't cope very well with making random, although I do like it's look)
