Are there comparisons :?: ...or are the Y2, G3 and Y1 the same :?:

Hope what I just said above makes sense. I'm working on two other quilts for our local guild, one of which is another BOM. The instructions are starting to intermix with each other....along with making all the HSTs. Hmmmm....maybe mixing them all up could produce an interesting looking quilt...

      Diane
Diane, my instructions were written specifically for the Beloved Beauties kits. You can use the pre-cut instructions for specific parts of the quilt as noted, but the colors will NOT be directly interchangeable with the ones for the other kit. If you need to pre-cut your fabrics, just read what they are destined for to decide what fabrics you want to use. And interesting looking quilts are what we are after!!!

(The differences are because I tried to use all of the striped fabrics to their best advantage and they can't be changed one-for-one with Sue's fabrics.)

Just another note on the slat border :

If you have your fabrics cut out at the 10" x10" that the fabric requirement sheet calls for (don't ask me why I did that), and you cut out your 1 3/8 strips from that (1 3/8 x 10") you will only need to make 2 strips sets, not the 3 the instructions call for

Thanks for pointing that out, Tammy. I didn't do the slat border, so I didn't check that info.

Hi there, Getting ready to head out to Australia and wanted to show you what I've accomplished so far. I wanted this to be a green quilt so I thought I'd use some of my greens for the little border. I haven't put the 2nd 1/4" border on yet until I decide the background for the lattice border. I'll be eager to see what you all do this month! Take care, geneva

I decided to use the first centre block I did, as I am still plodding on with my stable stuff on the second one not very successfully I might add. I am pleased with how Februarys worked out, it all fitted together  Dorothy UK
