As we are pretty much snowed in at the moment, with more on the way later today, I sure wish it were tomorrow and I had instructions to start the BOM.

Ohhh. Takes my breath away it is so beautiful!!! I know somehow you have finagled a regular 48 hour day from the Good Lord. You couldn't get it all done otherwise!

I have admitedly not been participating this last year very much here on the boards as I've been trying to balance my life (but have sadly discovered it's not a do-able thing!) Now what the heck to do with that information is the big deal for 2011!

This quilt is so lovely, I may have to reconsider. I have 8 finished tops all lined up here waiting for me to begin quilting on my sit down HQ. But I don't have quilting plans for any of them. Hmmm.

Thanks for all you do for all of us Margo! You are a keeper.

Lynn you need to set yourself a goal for 2011 and have at the end of the 2011 BOM year NINE finished tops all lined up waiting for you to begin quilting .......lol lol lol :P :P :P

                  Lyn,
I know what you mean by trying to find balance. I don't think it's doable either. I've not been as active as I would like to be, I've spread myself across too many boards on this dang computer. My RR quilt is going to be scrappy-I'm going to spend as little money as possible here.

Mary, I love your colors, especially the green with pink-is that your focus fabric?

                    Mary,

I just gasped at your fabric choices -- absolutely lovely! Looking forward to watching your progress with Ruffled Roses and these fabrics. Judy

                      Eileen,
Yes, the pink and green fabric is my focus fabric and will probably use it for the setting triangles around the center applique block. Worked on a customer quilt for a while today and am now getting applique pieces ready. It's going to be fun to see this quilt come together. Sue has outdone herself again!

Judy, thanks for the nice comments on my fabric choices. I decided to go for a softer palette this time- my 2009 BOM was quite bright.

Mary, your colors are wonderful!! Sue's quilt design really accepts lots of different color ways. I bet it would be pretty in really soft pastels, too.

                          Mary: love your colors!
everyone else: DON'T tempt me! LOL I've never done a soft palette. Maybe this is the year!

                            Margo,
Would it be possible for you to give us a close up of your fabric choices? I'm trying to use my stach and having all kinds of touble with my fabric choices! I've tried to convert from one chart to the other but a picture of your Beloved Beauties fabrics, like Sue gives in the directions, would be most helpful! I need all the extra help I can get!

This picture shows the large print Ecru, which is used for all of the background and the gold and green stripes.
The large green foral print is not used.
