I have been running quite a bit behind so far, but I did finally get the first month finished and I've at least started on the second month. I am using batik fabrics, mostly from my stash, but I did pick up a few more mid January when we had a kind of nice day with no snow and I could get to the quilt store. I haven't actually pressed these with the iron yet, just used the roller but I wasn't going to do another photo so a couple of the white edge pieces are kind of sticking up here. It was late at night so I just laid them on the floor to take the photo as there is a daylight bulb in the hallway. -
Yes, there are some of us working on January! I had a false start at the beginning of the year, and just now got started for real. I'm using Moda Bella Solids.A friend recommended using Perfect Piecing paper from June Tailor. You can see through it and it doesn't curl when ironed. I really liked it better than working with vellum. Now onto February!Carole BerryComment
