Posting my month one blocks.

I had to finish another BOM before beginning Laurel Ridge. I am now on my way. I chose to use Jane Austen fabrics since I hope that her books were delivered by the packhorse librarians.

I’m new to quilting and this will be my first non-t-shirt quilt. As my husband and I traveled, I stopped at quilt shops all over and picked out fabrics to complete this quilt- that and the conversations were amazing! I’m going to make these blocks again, but here’s my color scheme. I’ve watched Lynn and Barbara’s videos over so I could figure out why I’m losing the points. I think I know why ( besides having a broken arm). And, it’s silly, but I am just tickled with the coloring page and created one for each month we’ve done so far.

I’m using fabric by Edyta Sitar with Laundry basket quilts. I only have 3 more blocks to make to reach the needed 52!

I’ve been keeping track of our monthly patterns on the colouring page but for the life of me, I can’t determine where month 1 goes. I located a design that had only 8 pieces but the centre differs from the pattern. Pls help.

NOTE: the Autumn and Spring kits are different and so are the positions of the Month 1 blocks. It will all be obvious much later when you assemble the quilt.
