      I chose a dark background, using up all my navy fabric scraps. I finished it just in time to display it at my guild's show last weekend. I modified the layout slightly to create a curved effect in the center. Some of the appliqué is from Jen’s pattern, and I also incorporated elements from Irene Blanck’s Garden Party Down Under.

      Grand Champion at Local Fair. 3rd time in a row, all Quilt show BOM’s. The Judge and viewers were just in awe about the quilt. They even read my label that described the BOM. Impressed as it is hand pieced, quilted and embroidered all within a year.
      I did expand from originally and put in some of Becky Goldsmith’s blocks to make it larger.

        Congratulations! We LOVE IT when the TQS BOM wins ribbons--many of them DO! Yours is wonderful.
