I like the contrast of the windows on the right house. It is nice to have the time to audition different ideas. Everyone seems to be getting month 1 done in week 1. HelenW

This is my third attempt at the centre cabin. The first two were done in soft coloured fabrics and just seemed to disappear, so I had to reassess my fabric choices. Think I am now happy.

I did it, but struggled mightily with the star points. I had trouble with placement of triangles so lots of ripping. It was not as easy as it looked on video. I paper pieced house, thanks Helen. That was easy after making Color My World. I also made lots of stems using clover bias tape maker. Love the colors and look forward to coming months.

OK, I got Month 1 done. I am using scraps and stash and have no idea what I’ll choose month by month. I really struggled with making my own 1/4” bias! Looking at this picture now, my roof looks like some type of origami….not intended, I’ll learn to love it

I completed month 1 using Karen Buckleys "Perfect Stem" maker. I also wanted to use my new embroidery machine, so I embroidered the house. I made so many houses with the 2021 BOM, I was looking for an alternative. When completing the frame I decided to miter the corners. Not quit sure of my colors yet. . . .I may try a second one with different combinations.
