Yes, all the fabric amounts are listed in the INTRODUCTION. Find it under LEARN.

The BACKGROUND FABRIC for the quilt TOP calls for 5.25 yards. I bought 6 yards of my choice to start testing the pattern in September.
Just want to make sure we are on the same page.

Barbara, I really appreciate your responses because after calling, sending an email and posting 2 tickets, the only response I’ve received was from Brandi about the green fabric for the stems which I’d already received, hadn’t even mentioned in my messages and nothing regarding my background shortage.
I’m trying to be patient, I’m sure I’m not the only person with an issue, but since the background fabric can’t be found anywhere else, I am nervous to begin cutting when I’m 1/4 yd short of the pattern requirements and you mentioned you used 6 yds.
You did such a fine job leading us through Color My World I thought I’d try appliqué, but this is the first time I’ve purchased the kit…and probably the last time, for $249 dollars I could have bought more than 13 yards.
Thanks for your help!!

Customer service is working on your issue. If you only have 5 yards background, that is still enough. I was asked to check my kit and did, finding it complete. Please be patient a bit longer. You will get a response soon.
Because I am curious, did you pre-wash the background fabric before measuring? And did you measure a couple times?
-
Yes I did measure multiple times and it’s just an inch over 5 yds. straight out of the bag. And then I measured all the other pieces, I’d never had a kit that gave you just inches to work with.
The response I got from John was that I’d “have to cut a little more carefully”, which in my opinion is poor customer service, I paid the same price as everyone else but I should make it work with less. He also explained the expenses they added to the fabric kit, including $20 for shipping the kit, $5 for shipping the membership gifts, etc.,
Thank you for your help Barbara, you are a very supportive teacher!
