I ran into a bit of a problem with my interpretation of mirror image. Thus my vines ended in opposite angles. I already had one appliqué border done and half of the second so no turning back in my mind. So, fast forward I finished my borders this way. Not unhappy at all about the end results. In the future I will make sure to read all the directions first. Still a happy results.

So I'm still in... End of February, I am further behind, but thrilled with the results so far. The best news is that as you can see in the photo my colorwheel is complete. I have "finalized" my pallet... the shopping can end. .... but will it?Last edited by Paula S.; 02-28-2022, 10:33 PM.

None of my words posted with the photo! I am behind, but catching up. I am using my Asian fabric collection, including indigos brought back from Japan and Thailand by my military husband, and kimono remnants I picked up at quilt shows.
Added: For the upper leftmost flower, I used a ruched flower that my late best friend made many years ago and I found in her sewing room when her husband asked my help clearing it out. It makes me happy to see it there every time I look at it.Last edited by Christine T.; 03-02-2022, 02:59 PM.Christine
