    New to The Quilt Show

I am BRAND NEW to the Quilt Show and fell in love with this pattern. I downloaded all of the instructions. My concern is... somewhere, I read that this pattern is available until December 31. Does that mean the videos and this forum will disappear after that time? I'm finding a lot of useful information, but won't get to start the project until 2022.
Thanks for any info you can provide.

No, the videos and the Forum remain. All my blogs remain--they are detailed teaching tools for this. Find them easily at

LEARN, 2021 BOM, each month has a separate listing. The patterns/documents are under Patterns/Documents tab. The first tab on the left is Videos.

I am brand new to The Quilt Show and I, also, fell in love with Color My World. My question is about the shot cottons. When I search on line for Windham shot cottons, the color names don’t match up with the colors posted here. Is it just approximate? Is it possible to buy the shot cottons here without the background fabric? Or, do the color names really matter as long as there’s a variety? Thanks.

The color names were made up to make it easy to tell which fabric was which. Select colors you like that approximate the colors used in the Kit.

The Quilt Show store no longer has those kits.

I'm new to The Quilt Show and this forum. I saw the 2021 Color My World BOM youtube videos and started exploring. I just became a member last week and downloaded all the directions for Color My World and pulling fabric for the 2022 BOM. Still need to learn how to post a photo. I will be one of the slow participants without a doubt. I'm planning on doing both the 2021 and 2022 BOM's throughout this year. Applique is not anything i have done a lot of before and my stems have always been twitchy! Lol! I'm going to try to up my game in this and we will see where i end up. Looking forward to this process and participating as part of a large group!

Welcome, Judith. You will be busy if making both 2021 and 2022 Block of the Month quilts.
To learn how to post photos--use the Search the Forum box on the left, type Uploading Photos and the first topic that comes up has step-by-step instructions I wrote in July 2021.
