I answered that question in this Topic on 10/10, see belowOriginally posted by Pam_Gantz View PostI’m working on my little houses and am concerned about having enough background. I want to cut the outer borders on the lengthwise grain. Can you tell the dimensions of the outer border strips? I’ve saved enough border fabric lengthwise for the Quilt’s finished dimensions.Barbara Black

I have just begun trying to design my first little house using the measurements that we were given via Barbara's blog. I have designed my first house using EQ8 but not sure if it is the right size for the space in which the house will go. Are the measurements that were given with regards to drawing our own house just for the house or is that space also for the background fabric and the trees? I am hoping someone can help me or I will have to just stop trying to make my own houses and just go with the pattern. Thank you for any help that someone can give me.

The Design area I gave in July is for the entire block, including the background and the house and trees. You can print out the house pattern given, tape all the sections together, and compare it to your designed Little House.Originally posted by PaolaRB View PostI have just begun trying to design my first little house using the measurements that we were given via Barbara's blog. https://bbquiltmaker.blogspot.com/20...s-in-city.htmlOriginally posted by cdbrown81 View PostHi Barbara, you mentioned in your Month 10 Little Houses in the City video that you gave instructions/dimensions for the house block, if we wanted to customize it. I found the Tall Buildings document but not the Little Houses. Can you send the link?
Thanks, Connie
The blog has a good search box to help find things. Here is that post.
