    Problem printing month 8

This morning we discovered a problem printing page 5 of Month 8, specifically the Shadow, piece g. Since these are hand drawn patterns and the designer uses A4 paper, things don't always fit on letter size paper.

Tall Building #3 RS--the shadow should be "about" 9 5/8" long, including seam allowances.

I recommend you extend the bottom of the shadow to at least that length. You can even make it longer, and trim off the excess after the Tall Building #3 RS lower half is sewn together.

I have contacted Wendy Williams to see if she can re-draw this page so it all fits on letter sizer paper. As that might take more than a week, this suggested workaround will keep you constructing TB #3.

Thank you Barbara. I had tried every which way to print it properly before checking the forum. I will just cut the shadow long and trim away later.

Thank you Barbara. My official printer (husband with the big computer!) was having problems this morning with printing too. Appreciate the "fix."

Thank you Barbara! Got new printer, so was disappointed when the scale was off. Hopefully the new fix will be successful! Thank you again.

I happened to have legal size paper and everything fit on that just fine. When copying on the freezer paper, you can adjust the original legal paper so that all of the pattern pieces will fit.

I didn't have any problem printing and my sq inch box is correct. So with that in mind shouldn't the right side shadow be 9 3/8" long.

                That’s what I came up with. Which is right 9 3/8 or 9 5/8?

Glad to see I wasn't the only one having a problem. I tried legal size paper but it didn't help, the bottom was still missing.

I was able to print the TB 3 RS. I first change my printer to legal size (used that size paper). I then went into block 8 and into print and customized to print the TB 3 RS. In the print options I change letter size to legal and I was able to print the entire page..

9 5/8" And we have been in touch so I know you got this answer already.
